Random Scenario Thing

0 × Recruitment. I want you(!) to join our army! Remember to always give in to whatever ridiculous demands they want. Alternatively, they've just joined the army and you're trying to make a good first impression. 1 × Shopping. It's your duty to make sure the army stays supplied some how so make sure you pick the best weapons and sell what you need to get the funds. Wait, no! You can't sell that! It has sentimental value! 2 × Watch duty. Morning, day, evening, and night; someone has to keep a look out around camp! You wouldn't want any brigands or monsters to sneak into camp and cause trouble. 3 × Training. Wake up, wake up, rise and shine, daisies. Lesson one: A soldier must have discipline and what better way to prove that than by waking up before sunrise for some intense exercise? 4 × Healing tent. You used to be a great soldier until you took an arrow to the knee. Injuries are bound to happen on the battle field so you might as well get used to finding the healing tent now. 5 × Benched. You haven't been benched! You're just… holding down the fort while everyone else goes off to fight. 6 × Romance. Is now really the time for a confession? Did you even realize you were in love? Chat it up and get those A/S supports going. 7 × Restoration. The war is over and as much as you want to relax, there's still a lot of work that needs to be done. 8. × Desert level. The sun is blazing, the sand is hot, it's hard to get around, and did you just trip on some buried treasure or run into a mirage village's wall? 9× RNG. Shenanigans. |

A favor, hm? I suppose I could spare a favor for my dear spouse. [and Minerva. fellow draco and whatnot.]
So what is it?
no subject
Minerva is a formidable force in battle as is, but I am interested in seeing how a Manakete's fighting techniques may strengthen her abilities. Would you be alright with teaching us in an extra training session, perhaps?
no subject
[awwwyes. her smile grows.]
I'd be delighted. [maybe she's playing it up a bit too much, but. no such thing as too much.] Minerva and I can even synchronize our flight patterns, so we'd be matching in the sky! [like a real couple!!]
no subject
Creating a dialogue between the two of you would be highly beneficial. ...Though she seems to have already taken a liking to you.
no subject
[does Gerome know? because Nah doesn't.]
Does that mean you have too, then? [cut straight to the chase. no mercy.]
no subject
What's that? It sounds as if the preparations for our meal are finished. We'd best be off.
[and gerome is taking his leave with minerva. TOODLES. GOODBYE.]
no subject
[running after-!]
Get back here, you! Answer my question!
no subject
[even if he is definitely not going in the right direction to get to the dining tent. naga save him from talking about his feelings. anybody save him]
no subject
I won't let go until you tell me!
no subject
....But there isn't much he can do, if she's got his cape. At least not without being mean. And he can't be mean to Nah. Who can be mean to Nah? A heartless idiot, probably. Definitely not someone who likes her. Not saying that Gerome does or anything. Hahahahaa.
He presses his palm over his mask, as if his eyes needed any more shielding. His cheeks burn.]
All of this stubbornness for a single word? [He ducks his chin slightly downward, toward his shoulders.] Unhand me, Nah. [More of a quiet request rather than an order. But let go anyway? Please?]
no subject
a) >continue to be childishly stubborn and cling to his cape like a monkey
b) >let go and chase him down in dragon form should he choose to flee
c) >let go and trust him not to flee
d) >???
well. alright. she lets go, stepping around to face him from the front, peering up. man, why does she have to be so small?]
A single word? I'm not expecting a speech, but just one word seems a little stingy.
no subject
gerome likes her small anywayHe doesn't flee. He swallows quietly, adjusting his mask over his eyes, his chest expanding as he inhales through his nose. She's right, of course. Even if he could just give her a one-word answer, she deserves more. It's just difficult. He drops his hand, albeit hesitantly. His face is still burning under his mask. He can't even meet her eyes from under it. His throat feels dry, suddenly.]
If I didn't care for you, would I have suggested our quasi-nuptial game in the first place?
no subject
Oh, but it's not entirely a game, is it? Neither of us are children here.
[technically. technically Nah is Gerome's age. how quaint.]
no subject
It's completely a game. I had suggested it as such, and so it is. [What a stubborn ass. But he isn't shaking her off.] Games aren't limited only to children.
no subject
[important life lessons, yo.]
no subject
I'm afraid multitasking in such a way is foreign to me.
[but gerome bends his arm a little more to accommodate her hold, and he lays his free hand over one of her's, hesitantly. he'll head them in the right direction to the dining tent now.....]
no subject
[her smile only grows wider- success! ??]
If someone as scatterbrained as my mother can manage it, someone like you certainly can.
1/2
With a manakete's supposedly keener sense of hearing, should you say such things about your mother within earshot of the camp? [hah.]
no subject
Cherche would like to be formally introduced to you.
no subject
Cherche... your mother? That makes her my step-mother!
[in-laws.]
no subject
Please- Let's cease this game once you meet her. I'll not give her a heart attack.
She would like to cook dinner for us tomorrow evening. [as much as Gerome was against it. cherche and gerome reached A support by this time, finally, so he's ready to let her start doing mom things. like grilling the girls he likes. hahaha...]
no subject
I'm certainly looking forward to it. A dinner, just the three of us...!
[unless. unless. Nowi comes along too.]
Are you excited as I am, Gerome?
no subject
If you're speaking of my frayed and unsettled nerves, yes.
[his mother is either going to be happy and welcoming, or she's going to grill and possibly threaten nah. maybe even both. it'll be the most embarrassing and nerve-wracking thing ever. )8]
no subject
What's there to worry about? Our mothers are friends. [more or less??]
